Nova is house trained and has shown that she gets along well with children and other dogs, making her an excellent fit for a family. Meet Nova! This 2-year-old, 40-pound cuddlebug excels at being a professional couch potato. Fully housebroken and relaxed around food, toys, and bones, she has no interest in being destructive. Nova's favorite pastime is simply being where her people are, preferably curled up on the couch with a cozy blanket and some cuddles. Nova adores children and forms deep bonds with them. She loves to snuggle on the couch and even enjoys sleeping under the covers with her little human friends at night. Given her fondness for kids, she would thrive in a home where children can be her special people. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and would benefit greatly from having a canine companion to help her feel secure. Nova is respectful and playful with her dog friends. She also shows little to no interest in cats and has even peacefully shared a home with a potbelly pig! Still learning about the world, Nova is working on leash walking and is getting comfortable with her crate. Although she may bark or whine initially, she soon settles down. Meeting new people can make her nervous, leading her to bark a bit until she warms up, especially with men. A fenced yard would be wonderful for her, although she’s not overly active and could adapt well to apartment life too. She enjoys playing in water, adores kiddie pools, and absolutely LOVES car rides! Nova seeks a patient, loving family willing to give her time to feel safe and flourish.
