About Jolene
Jolene is a sweet and wonderful girl, approximately 6 years old and weighing about 28 lbs. She has a heartwarming story, having been rescued from a cruelty case. Although she came to Mostly Mutts with patches of fur loss due to chemical burns, her skin has healed, and some fur is starting to grow back. She’s ready to leave her past behind and is looking forward to a future filled with love and gentle care. Jolene has met other dogs at the shelter and prefers to be the only pup in the household. Her interactions with cats are still unknown, and while she hasn't spent time with children yet, it's best to introduce her to older kids rather than toddlers. Her personality is affectionate and playful, bringing plenty of happy energy. Jolene loves to cuddle and enjoys being around people. She’s getting better with her training at Mostly Mutts University, where she’s mastered commands like 'sit' and 'down'. She’s also in good crate manners but may need help with potty training as she adjusts to her new home. She has an active side and delights in toys and playtime. In terms of health, she’s spayed, vaccinated, and will soon start treatment for heartworm, which will be covered by Mostly Mutts. Jolene is looking for a loving family who will treasure her for life!
