About Holmes Special Needs

Holmes has faced challenges that very few cats should endure, and now he’s ready to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Previously living behind a shop, he had the support of a good Samaritan until a coyote attack left him with serious injuries to his back legs. Fortunately, his legs have healed well, but he sustained a tail pull injury that leaves him paralyzed in his tail and incontinent. This means Holmes will wear diapers for life. Despite his struggles, Holmes is a big, handsome cuddle bug eager for affection. He thrives on the love he receives and leans into every pet like he has waited for this his entire life. His ideal home would provide him with a warm, safe space where he can nap comfortably and feel secure. Holmes prefers to be the only cat in the house, as he can be aggressive and territorial, especially towards other males. He is neutered, FIV/FELV negative, and up to date on vaccinations. Although he has some special needs—including daily bladder expressions to prevent UTIs—this resilient and loving cat is ready to fill your heart with joy. If you're looking to provide a forever home to a truly special feline, consider welcoming Holmes into your life. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
