Ace & Ash — A Second Chance at Forever Ace and Ash are siblings who have been through far more than any cats should have to endure. Adopted together four years ago, they recently returned to LC3 after their circumstances changed and they were left without the care and companionship they needed. Despite their difficult experience, these two have shown us something wonderful: they still love people and they still love each other. They are affectionate, sweet young cats who are ready for a fresh start. Ace is a striking, long and lean black cat with intense green eyes and a permanently deformed ear from an old, untreated ear hematoma. His ear gives him the appearance of a tough little warrior, but his personality tells a very different story. Ace loves attention and will seek out his humans for pets. He enjoys sitting by a window watching the world go by and absolutely loves a good feather-wand battle. Ash is a beautiful, fluffy white and brown/gray tabby with soft light green-gold eyes. She is a true lap cat and will happily settle in with her person for as long as she can. She also loves snuggling near her human's head and shoulders at bedtime. Feather wands, electronic toys, sunny spots, and cozy beds are some of her favorite things. Ace and Ash are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. They would do best in a quiet home without other cats, where they can relax and receive plenty of love and attention. Calm, non-intrusive dogs may be a good match. Both cats have received the veterinary care they needed and are now ready to put their difficult past behind them. Ace and Ash have already shown us how loving and resilient they are.
