Meet Charlotte, but everyone lovingly calls her Charlie. This brave girl has overcome so much—surviving a house fire and narrowly escaping the euthanasia list. Thanks to a rescue stepping in, she found a second chance back in February. Charlie is a charming "house hippo" who takes lounging seriously, but don't be fooled—she has a playful side too. Her unique little "woo woos" will certainly bring a smile to your day. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she does prefer a slow, gentle introduction to new friends. More than any miracle, Charlie longs for a family. She dreams of someone who will giggle at her silly sounds and share space on the couch with her.
