About Luka
Luka is a 3-year-old, 66 lb Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees mix who’s looking for a loving forever home in Flower Mound, TX. After being returned to Humane Tomorrow due to family health issues, he's now thriving in a foster home where he's receiving care for allergies. With a healthy appetite and a recent recovery, Luka's coat is growing back beautifully, showing just how well he's doing. He takes his allergy treatments, whether shots or drops, with ease as long as there’s a piece of cheese involved. This friendly boy enjoys his daily walks, covering a mile in the morning and a half mile in the evening. He’s eager to jog alongside you, and while he’s good on the leash, a little extra training wouldn’t hurt. Luka is playful and loves being outdoors, often patrolling the yard for squirrels and rabbits. He gets along well with his foster brother, a big golden retriever mix, but he prefers a home without terriers. Luka is house trained and enjoys being brushed, making grooming a breeze. This gentle giant will not climb on your furniture or bed, respecting your space. If you're ready to welcome a loving and active companion, don’t hesitate to apply for Luka today!
