About Lumi
Meet Lumi! This lovely spayed 8-year-old Husky radiates friendliness and energy. She's a bubbly soul who lights up the room, ready for playtime and affection. Though she's found herself at the shelter, Lumi's spirits remain high. From the moment she met us, she was chasing us around the yard, eager for some fun. Her track record with people has been excellent at the shelter, and we’re hopeful her loving personality will help her quickly find a forever home. Lumi was raised by her original family since she was a puppy. However, her adventurous spirit often led her to escape, causing them concern for her safety. Sadly, her first rehoming didn't work out either, as she developed a habit of chasing cattle, posing a risk to herself and the neighbors’ herd. For this reason, she cannot be placed in a home with livestock. On a brighter note, Lumi has a gentle nature and does well with kids, dogs, and even cats. She’s house-trained and has received her initial vaccinations, plus she's microchipped for her new family’s peace of mind. Lumi may be a senior, but she still has plenty of energy to explore and enjoy life. At the end of her day, she cherishes snuggle time with her favorite humans.
