Meet Siesta, a 2-year-old male hound weighing around 35 lbs and sporting a white and cream coat. He is neutered, vaccinated, and located in Fairfax Station, VA. Although we're still assessing his house training, he has a friendly disposition and gets along well with cats, dogs, and respectful children.

About Siesta

Siesta is a 2-year-old hound with a fun and energetic spirit. He has an easy-going nature and loves making new friends. Siesta gets along well with other dogs and is also good with respectful kids. He does fine with cats too, making him a great fit for a variety of households. Currently learning basic commands, he’s eager to show off his skills. Siesta is brand new to the rescue and we’re assessing his house training and crate comfort soon. Previously a stray, he was brought to a rural shelter before finding his way to Homeward Trails. This lovable dog is excited to find his forever home. Siesta’s adoption fee has been waived as part of the Happy Hound program. Are you ready to welcome a bundle of joy into your life?
