Meet Batman 🐾🖤. This 3-year-old boy may take a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, his sweet and affectionate personality shines through. Batman loves giving kisses to his favorite people and is always ready for playtime, especially if there’s a ball involved! Batman has faced some challenges in his past adoptions. He needs a more consistent routine, exercise, and attention than he previously received. Once he feels comfortable, he has considerable energy, so someone who can keep him mentally and physically active is ideal. One of Batman’s biggest challenges is that he can be an escape artist. He’s gotten out of yards before, making a secure, fenced area essential for keeping him safe. His previous family noted that he could free roam in the home without destructive behavior. While Batman can be shy and anxious around new people, he shows a very different side once he knows you. He enjoys treats, car rides, and does well on the leash. Batman has lived with other dogs, including smaller breeds, and has been around cats. Considering his background, Batman would thrive with an experienced, patient adopter who can provide a consistent schedule, ample exercise, and a secure outdoor space.
