Hi! Our names are Maurice and Beatrix. We came to Good Home when a friendly human rescued us from a scary, decaying house. Now we live in the Cat Lounge and are having fun playing with all the toys, meeting new friends (human and feline), and finding all sorts of cozy new places to snooze. We are sweet, friendly kittens who respond well to patience and love. We can be shy when we first get to new places, but a little understanding (with treats and toys!) goes a long way with us. We especially love Churus! Yummy treats and offering us toys like mice, feather toys, and a tunnel were how our fosters taught us to come out of hiding and trust them. Once we feel comfortable we are cheerful, curious kittens who enjoy inviting our humans to love on us (when we say so) and finding all the fun things to play with in our home. We are inquisitive kittens who are getting braver everyday. We've really learned to enjoy pats and scratches from people and are not afraid to ask for them! And while we do have bright kitten energy and LOVE to play with each other, we also enjoy quiet, snoozing times. Beatrix is a little more outgoing and Maurice is quieter, but we are both gentle, well-mannered kittens. We'd be happiest in a moderately active home with patient people who admire our independent side and appreciate our affectionate side. We haven't lived with dogs or children before, so we aren't sure how we'd do, but we don't like loud noises or sudden movements so we might do best in a home without dogs and with only older kids or grown ups. What we do know is that we are bonded and very much need to stay together. We would love a person of our very own who adores us for the sweet, silly, mellow pair we are. Could that be you?
