If you're looking for a sweet, petite companion who treats humans like her absolute world, I think we might just be a match. I may be a fully grown adult cat, but I have the delicate frame of an older kitten—complete with a sleek, perfectly dressed black tuxedo. I came to Give Me Shelter after being found abandoned outside in the Ingleside neighborhood. It was a scary experience for a little girl, but despite everything I've been through, my trust in humans hasn't wavered. To me, people represent safety, warmth, and comfort. When you're near, I instantly feel at ease, and hanging out with my favorite humans is the absolute best part of my day. I happen to be the undisputed Queen of Biscuits! When I'm happy to see you, I don't just stay in one spot—I'll make "standing and walking biscuits," rhythmically kneading the floor as I walk toward you. I love pushing my little face into your hands for headbutts, rubbing my nose against your fingers, and when I get super excited, giving you the softest little love nips. My other signature move? The floor plop! I'll flop down right in front of you, stretch out as far as my tiny body allows, and roll around to invite belly rubs. Unlike many cats, I actually love having my tummy rubbed—I'll even start making sweet little air biscuits in complete bliss while you do it. At night, you'll usually find me tucked snugly in bed with you, nestled right between your legs and curled up for hours. Because of my past, I can be a little shy when stepping into a new, unfamiliar environment. I'll need a bit of initial encouragement and reassurance to build up my confidence. Starting me off in a smaller, cozy space—like a bedroom or a home office where you spend a lot of time—will help me feel secure. With a little gentle coaxing, I come right out of my shell. The more time we spend together, the faster I settle in and let my adorable personality shine! Lately, I've even started discovering how fun toys are, especially little round balls I can chase and kick around. I'm a healthy girl with a fantastic appetite who is just waiting to prove to my future family that they are my safe harbor.
