Grace is a gorgeous silver gray tabby with stricking green eyes. She has the energy of a kitten still but she is about 2 years old. Grace is spayed, combo tested negative, fecal test negative, microchipped and vaccines recently up to date. Applied preventatives for flea/tick regularly. She was surrendered to us after 6 weeks post adoption because the adopter didn't understand what a high energy cat vocal cat meant. It means she will vocalize and ask to play when bored. She was adopted for her looks and found herself alone with long hours and bored. When she began vocalizing to get attention and asking to play with bursting energy, the newly pet owner found it was challenge for her. Grace didn't do anything wrong she was just acting like a 1 year old kitten. We realized Grace was easily overstimulated if petted too long. She head bunt you constantly but is not giving you permission to pick her upor squeeze her.. Wait until she purrs and seek affection then scratch her head or ears. She loves it! However when she is bursting with play chase energy is not the time for petting her. She chases toys she finds around or imaginary ! She has the most fun playing pretend. She pretends she is being chased by the toy and turns to ambush it! And the most fun in to watch her interract with flying wands. She can jump high and catch the feathe to run to the water bowl and hide her pray. Oh and she can pounce to a tiny speck of dust! She is funny like that when you get to know Grace! She gets along with male cats easier than female cats while in multicat foster environment. She can keep up with the active males without losing a beat but also likes a quiet brother to clean and slumber. When Grace don't see her human or foster sibling she vocalizes to find out if the human answers back!. The ideal person for Grace is one person that can be around her and has the energy to play with her daily. Grace is a couch homebody however, she watches birds by the window perch but ultimately she loves watching TV next to her people.
