About Loofah
Meet Loofah! This sweet girl is a gentle and sensitive soul who wants to be brave, and she’s making progress every day. New people and sounds can be overwhelming, so she’s looking for a patient adopter who can allow her the space to observe and decide when she’s ready. Loofah has a special affinity for other dogs. When she spots a canine companion, her whole demeanor shifts—tail wags, ears perk up, and the world feels a bit less intimidating. In playgroup, she comes alive, happily switching between being the chaser and the chased. She’s even making strides with people, exploring her surroundings and occasionally seeking lap time with those she trusts. Slow, sniffy walks are her favorite, allowing her to investigate her environment at her own pace. Loofah isn’t seeking someone to rush her growth. She needs a loving family that can help her build her confidence over time. A confident dog friend would be a tremendous support, but she could also thrive as a single dog with a supportive household that understands her needs. Watching her learn to trust is a special experience, and the bond she forms with the right person will be incredibly meaningful. If you think you can provide Loofah with the time and support she needs, click apply to start the adoption process.
