Robbie is an adorable 6-month-old Australian Cattle Dog/Red Heeler mix with a naturally bobbed tail, a bright personality, and the cutest face! He currently weighs about 35 pounds and still has a little growing left to do. Robbie is friendly, affectionate, smart, and completely people-focused. Robbie is showing all the signs of becoming a classic “Velcro dog” — if his people are doing something, he would very much like to be included! While the bigger dogs know the dining room treat buffet is off-limits, clever little Robbie figured out that a chair makes an excellent step stool. Life with Robbie definitely comes with some laughs! He is comfortable in his kennel and sleeps quietly in it overnight. A treat makes going inside even better! During the day, he may bark if everyone else is having fun while he’s kenneled — because in Robbie’s mind, there is absolutely no reason the party should continue without him. Robbie is also almost completely house trained and doing very well. He reliably pees as soon as he is taken outside, but his foster family has discovered his funny little routine: give him another five minutes outside and he will often go a second time. Once you know his routine, it’s easy to set him up for success. Robbie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. At just six months old, he has already shown what a loving, loyal, clever, and entertaining companion he can be. Robbie is looking for more than just a home — he’s looking for his people.
