About Heather
Heather is ready to find her forever home! This sweet senior Shih Tzu is looking for a best friend to cuddle up with on the couch. Her foster family describes her as a loving companion who craves human affection. Enjoying peaceful moments, she prefers a calm environment and is okay with older children, but doesnβt like a lot of noise or roughhousing. While she does well with other animals, she would prefer to be the only dog in the household. Heather is house trained and walks well on a leash, although she's currently recovering from a paw injury and showing increasingly more energy every day. Sheβs a real couch potato who enjoys watching daytime TV by your side. As a senior, she requires some special attention as she ages, including a dental appointment in the near future. If you think Heather is the pup for you, the next step is easy! Fill out an application at FOTAS.org/adopt, and they will reach out to set up a Meet & Greet. Heather is spayed and up to date on her vaccines, and all future care will be the adopter's responsibility. Make her next chapter her best one yet!
