Bacon is a small female Domestic Short Hair kitten, just 2 months old, with a beautiful gray-blue coat. She's already house trained and has received her vaccinations. Located in Chicago, IL, this beloved little one has been altered, and while she is not a special needs cat, she does require a playful feline friend in her new home.

About Bacon

Meet Bacon — small but mighty! Just two months old, she and her siblings—Bagel, Brioche, and Butter—had a rough start, arriving at the shelter sick, scared, and barely able to see due to goopy eyes. Thankfully, a dedicated volunteer intervened just hours before they were scheduled for euthanasia, giving them a chance to thrive with love and medical care. Bacon may be the tiniest of her litter, but don’t let that fool you. She confidently engages her bigger brother, Butter, in spirited wrestling matches, showcasing her feisty spirit. Yet, this little girl is also a lap cat at heart, purring contentedly as she curls up for a nap. Bacon enjoys playful antics with wand toys and crinkly balls, and while she can be cautious around new faces, she’s friendly and curious once she warms up. Since she’s still quite small, she’d thrive best in a home with gentle, respectful children. Ideally, she’d love to be adopted alongside her brother, Butter, as both need another playful companion. Having fought hard to reach this point, Bacon is ready for a forever family that will ensure her happy ending. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
