Meet Cooper! He’s a handsome one-year-old who has transformed since arriving in rescue. Initially, he was thought to be feral or very under-socialized, but Cooper had other ideas when he broke out of his shell into foster care. After a little escapade, he quickly decided that life indoors, with all its comforts like warm beds and petting, was for him. It took Cooper some time to trust people, but now he’s an affectionate lap cat who seeks out cuddles and love. Once you gain his trust, you'll see he thrives on companionship and absolutely loves belly rubs. Cooper gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a home where he has a feline buddy. He’s still getting used to people walking into rooms without warning, which may sometimes lead to a hiss, but it's harmless; he's all bark and no bite! One thing Cooper does not enjoy is being alone. He needs a home where he can be close to his people and his furry friends. This sweet boy is ready to find a forever home where he can share all the love he has to offer.
