Meika is a vibrant American Eskimo Dog brimming with youthful energy and the charm of a puppy. She’s quick to learn and picks up on her surroundings and commands, all while keeping a close eye on her humans. After a proper introduction, she transforms into a playful friend who loves to cuddle and shower you with affection, often with her silly tongue hanging out in excitement. Weighing around 24 pounds, she thrives on playtime, preferring squeaky toys, especially her favorite ball. Meika has a knack for self-entertainment, tossing and chasing toys around the room, showcasing both agility and smarts. Watching her frolic and catch balls brings joy, though she still needs guidance on returning them. With her past including extended periods in a crate, Meika craves structure and attention. While she adapts well to daily routines and rides calmly in the car, she would benefit from a disciplined environment free from excessive distractions. A yard for her zoomies would be perfect, though she can make the most out of indoor play as well. Meika’s foster experience has shown her needing the loving touch and attention that a single-pet home can provide. She’s currently not well-suited for a home with other pets due to her assertive nature.
