Meet Sussy — 35 lbs of pure love. At about 2-1/2 years old, Sussy has already waited far too long for the simple things every dog deserves: a safe home, a soft bed, a family to love, and someone to call her own. She was found living with a group of homeless strays in a place surrounded by abandoned, broken-down heavy trucks where there was rarely a person in sight. Several of Sussy’s siblings were tragically killed there. She was only a tiny puppy when we brought her and four other puppies home to safety. One of her siblings even made it all the way to a loving home in New York. Now it’s Sussy’s turn. She has grown into a beautiful, sweet girl who is simply waiting for someone to notice what a wonderful companion she can be. She deserves so much more than the life she started with—and after waiting this long, we would love nothing more than to see her finally have her own family.
