Meet Willow! This adorable petite girl is around 1 year old and weighs 30 lbs. She may take a few moments to warm up, but once she does, she’s quick to melt into your arms with cuddles and kisses. Willow is playful yet gentle with her toys, often borrowing stuffed animals from her foster sister without causing any damage. She’s thriving in her foster home, walking nicely on a leash and learning commands like sit and shake. Willow has been house trained and shows no food guarding tendencies, enjoying her meals without fuss. While she has shown no interest in the resident cat or hamster, she tends to be a bit nervous around new dogs, exhibiting a calm demeanor. Although she can be unsure of new people and may bark initially, Willow warms up beautifully with some patience and encouragement. She’s also not quite fond of the water hose and is still discovering that walking through the grass can be fun. What she needs most is a loving family that will provide reassurance and consistency as she builds her confidence. Willow is sweet, affectionate, and the perfect medium size, ready to find her forever home!
