Meet Mama Kiera, a lovely 2.5-year-old Akita looking for her forever home. Previously surrendered by a family from Colorado Springs, Kiera is a caring mom who recently raised a litter of puppies. Now that they’ve all found their homes, it’s her turn to be cherished. Kiera's got a teddy-bear face and a heart filled with love. She has completed a 3-week training academy and is e-collar trained, knowing commands like heel, sit, down, bed, crate, spin, and wait. Walks with her are a breeze; she's amazing on a leash. At home, she’s calm, quiet, and affectionate, enjoying downtime with her people. Kiera sleeps soundly in her kennel and rarely barks. She absolutely loves to give sweet kisses and has a playful side, often tossing toys around for her own entertainment. Ideally, she’d do best as the only dog and in a home with children aged 10 and older to avoid any accidental knockdowns given her weight of around 65 lbs.
