Originally part of a large litter found in Texas, she's overcome significant challenges, including prior health issues. Now in the care of Colorado Puppy Rescue, she has received excellent training and is ready for a fresh start. Cassie has successfully completed a three-week board-and-train program where she learned essential obedience skills and how to manage different environments. It's crucial that her new home continues the training she's become comfortable with, particularly as she's been trained using an e-collar. Adopters should be familiar with this system to ensure her ongoing success. While Cassie is friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company, she will do best in a calm, low-stress environment without children. In her previous home, she exhibited challenges around kids, which should be considered when selecting her next family. Cassie's affectionate nature shines through when she’s with people, as she thrives on love and praise. She is house trained, bell trained, and has developed a routine that helps her feel secure, like happily retreating to her kennel for sleep.
