Meet Zero! Named after Jack Skellington's loyal ghost pup from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Zero is a tiny terrier/Chihuahua mix who is learning that the world isn't so scary. This sweet and sensitive boy loves staying close to his people, often curling up on a cozy blanket for snuggles. In just a few days with his foster, he has started playing with toys, becoming more comfortable around other dogs, and improving on leash. Though he sleeps through the night in his crate, he can be easily startled by loud noises, sudden movements, or passing cars. A patient family will be ideal for him, giving him the time to decompress and build his confidence. While Zero has shown that he can do well with children, a calmer home with older kids or adults may suit him best. He's still discovering his personality, and it's exciting to see him blossom.
