Meet Gilbert, a delightful little guy just three months old. This baby Australian Shepherd mix is still figuring out the world but is already winning hearts with his gentle nature. There’s something special about his personality; he starts off a bit reserved but quickly warms up, appreciating head scratches and the warmth of close company. Not overly clingy, he enjoys being nearby while soaking up affection. Gilbert is currently learning the ropes of leash training. He’s made good progress with climbing stairs, though descending can be a challenge for those little legs. His polite demeanor around food is impressive; he welcomes gentle petting even while he eats. Playing with kids and other dogs is a joy for him, and with some patience and proper introductions, he becomes a relaxed companion. His playful side shines through with his favorite blue rubber bone, even if he sometimes confuses shoes for toys. Gilbert is looking for a loving, patient family to help him build confidence and continue his training.
