Meet Yankee! This vibrant 7-month-old, mixed breed pup is a lively 20 lbs of energy and joy. He's always ready for playtime, whether it’s running laps, fetching sticks, or just being part of the action. Yankee needs an active home with a large, secure yard where he can romp around with playful dogs and kids. They give him confidence and plenty of opportunities to burn off that puppy energy! He’s fully house trained, neutered, and knows his basic commands. While he can be a bit shy with new people initially, with a little patience, he quickly warms up. Yankee does have some separation anxiety, so he will thrive in a home where someone is often around, perhaps someone who works from home. He’s not a fan of his crate and can be quite vocal when crated, so his future family should be prepared to help him feel safe and comfortable in there. Yankee is looking for a family that recognizes the need for adequate exercise, playtime, and companionship for a high-energy pup like him. Provide the right outlets and a few friends, both four-legged and two-legged, and you’ll find yourself with a happy boy. Yankee is being fostered in Baldwin, MD.
