Meet Virginia, affectionately known as Ginny. This sweet mama is about 3 years old and is believed to be a Catahoula mix. Virginia was found after giving birth in a tree and has since been a wonderful mom to her five puppies, all of whom have found new homes. Now it's her time to shine! Currently in a foster home in Lancaster, PA, Virginia has made great strides with the love and support of her foster family. Living with six resident dogs can be overwhelming for her, so she might do best with just one or two other dogs, ideally a male. She shows a preference for women but is warming up to men, thanks to positive experiences. Potty-trained and well-behaved, Virginia enjoys walks and trips to the dog park. She has not interacted with cats, and while she has a strong interest in chasing squirrels, her playful nature needs a secure, fenced yard to romp around in. She's spayed and up to date on vaccinations, but she is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. If you’re ready to give Virginia the love she deserves, don’t hesitate to reach out.
