Meet Balto! Balto is a 5 month old Husky mix with the sweetest personality and a heart that wins everyone over. At around 25 pounds, hes the perfect mix of playful puppy and calm companion. He was a little shy when he first arrived, but hes settling into foster care beautifully and becomes more confident every day. He loves meeting new people and greets everyone with gentle kisses!!! And like any good Husky, when he gets excited youll hear his adorable little Husky yell ! For such a young puppy, Balto has incredible manners. He also loves his crate and happily puts himself to bed at night. Balto is very gentle with his toys. Instead of chewing them up, he carries them around, squeaks them, and even cuddles with them when he naps. Hes also a smart little guy whos already learning sit, although hes a bit of a food critic and prefers high value treats over regular biscuits. He enjoys playing but isnt an over the top, high energy puppy. Hes FANTASTIC with other dogs and has such a gentle temperament that we think hed do well with respectful children and likely cats too. Hes already learning to walk nicely on leash and is ready for all the adventures his future family has planned. Balto is truly a special puppy with a kind, loving personality.
