About Rocky
Rocky is a handsome young adult Pit Bull Terrier with an easygoing personality. This large fellow, at just over five years old, loves everyone he meets and prefers to stay close to his people. Potty trained and kennel trained, Rocky knows basic commands and even has a cute trick where he shakes with both paws. He walks well on a leash, making outings enjoyable for everyone, including more senior family members who can take him on walks with ease. While he’s calm on the whole, Rocky enjoys his playtime. In a previous home, his zest for play didn’t mesh well with a senior small dog, so a playmate who shares his energy would be ideal. He's also shown a good temperament around other animals, remaining calm when encountering dogs, donkeys, sheep, and chickens through a fence. Currently safe in a foster home, Rocky needs a new place to land because of an allergy in the household. He was found as a stray near Kechi, KS, and arrived with flea dermatitis, but that’s all cleared up now. Rocky is filled with love and ready to find his forever home. Can you be the one to give Rocky the stable, loving family he deserves?
