Jolene, Jolene... Please don't take this sweet girl home unless you're ready to love her forever! Unlike the famous song, Jolene is here hoping for a loving family to choose her. Once you meet her, it's easy to see why she might just capture your heart. This beautiful 2-year-old tabby arrived at our shelter after being transferred from another rescue. Her tipped ear hints at her past, indicating she’s been through a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. Luckily, someone recognized that this social butterfly is far too charming to live on the streets. Jolene is a chatty companion who loves to share her opinions. She enjoys petting and will let out an adorable meow to encourage you if you pause too soon. Playfulness is another part of her charm—she loves to chase bells, squeaky toys, and can turn a simple blanket into an adventure by hiding or pouncing from underneath. While she enjoys affection, Jolene is an independent lady who prefers interaction on her own terms. She'll come to you for love when she's ready, making her affection feel all the more special. At 2 years old, Jolene is in the prime of her life. She has plenty of youthful energy and a well-established personality, so you'll know exactly who you're welcoming into your home. If you’re looking for a cat with a big voice, a bigger heart, and a dash of independence, come meet Jolene. Once she starts singing her praises, you'll be smitten too. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 3:30-6:30 PM, and on weekends from 1 PM-4 PM. No appointments are necessary during those hours. Get ready to extend your family with Jolene!
