Meet Yankee, a handsome orange and white American Shorthair born on April 15, 2026. He arrived at just 14 weeks old, extremely feral and frightened, needing bite gloves to handle him. With patience and love, he has made remarkable progress, learning that people can be kind and gentle. Yankee is still a shy little guy but has begun to discover the joys of being a kitten. He loves playing with other cats at the shelter and has just started to find his voice. Although he may not leap into your lap just yet, his cautious nature hides a sweet personality waiting to shine.
