Hi Friends, my name is Wendy! I am 7 years young, a medium mixed-breed girl weighing about 40lbs, I'm spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on my heartworm testing. While my age classifies me as a senior, I still have a lot of pep in my step and am looking for a soft place to land. I would love a home with low to medium activity, I enjoy going for walks, basking in the sunshine, and just hanging with my human. You asked about my past? I try not to think about it because it was a little sketchy and very scary for me. I had not found the kindest people on my journey to the shelter. That's all changed now, thank goodness. Even with all the mistreatment I've endured, I still have faith that there is good in the world, and I love people. I am tolerant of other dogs, that are chill and laid back like me, I don't seem to have problems with cats, and I love every person I meet. I would likely do well with kids, as long as they respect my space and allow me time to adjust to living with them. Proper supervision is always recommended.
