About Freya
Freya is a 4-year-old, 100-pound Great Pyrenees and Doberman mix with a sweet and silly personality. She's incredibly smart, easy to train, and fiercely loyal to those she loves. Freya enjoys long walks, camping, and basking in the summer sun, making her a perfect match for an active owner. Though she’s a big girl, Freya’s gentle side shines through as she loves to snuggle. She thrives best as the only pet in the household and prefers a fenced yard for her playtime. While she can share space with other dogs, she has a tendency to guard her resources, so she may not tolerate pesky puppies or overly rambunctious dogs. However, she can be social and does well in environments like doggy daycare. Freya won’t be a good fit for a home with cats or small animals. She has shown sweetness around children, even though she hasn't lived with them before. Freya is house trained, kennel trained, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on flea and tick prevention. Her only special consideration is that she has a medical condition requiring medication, but this doesn’t inhibit her joyful spirit. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
