Boda is a young, smart Border Collie mix with a medium-length coat that's predominantly black and cream. He's about 30 pounds, full of energy, and eager to learn. Boda thrives with human interaction and has so much potential to be a wonderful companion in the right setting. Rescued from a New Mexico shelter a few months ago, he initially struggled with confidence. Though he's reactive to people and dogs at times, especially around food and toys, his training has made significant progress. Boda walks well on a leash, showing great manners by sitting patiently for treats. He loves adventures like river walks and training sessions, and he’s both crate and muzzle trained. A calm and consistent adult-only home is ideal for him. While Boda can get along with dogs, he needs time to warm up and performs best with a well-adjusted dog.
