About Teo

Teo is a handsome tan Lab mix who's made quite the journey from California to Illinois, now ready to find his forever family. With a charming, boxy head and a sweet personality, he loves to grab attention with his two favorites: a ball or some tasty treats. Teo has a moderate energy level, rarely barks, and walks nicely on a leash. He enjoys being involved in family activities, just happy to be included. Teo is crate trained and potty training is in progress. He gets along well with other dogs, as long as introductions are handled properly, but he tends to show interest in smaller animals. Being a bit territorial, he thrives with structure and careful introductions. Teo is great around older kids who are comfortable with large dogs, although he can sometimes forget his size in moments of excitement! He seeks a family who will continue to provide guidance, consistency, and opportunities for learning. Teo's simple desires include walks, a ball to chase, and a loving family to share his life with. Having traveled this far for a second chance, he’s hoping to settle into the home meant just for him. Ready to make Teo a part of your life? Click apply to start the adoption process.
