Hi there! I am a pretty tricolor female Beagle mix named Mantis. I am about 3 years old, weigh 35 lbs, and I was recently set to be euthanized at the San Antonio “kill” shelter in Texas. Thankfully, I'm not only pretty with a fabulous smile, but also a friendly sweetheart who caught the eye of 4 Little Paws Rescue. These days, my future is secure, and I am staying in a foster home, ready to get adopted. I am vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, current on preventatives, healthy and happy, and have all my vet records. My foster mom says I am a friendly, quiet, and gentle girl, making friends easily with everyone I meet: kids, strangers, and other dogs, but I have not met a kitty cat. I walk well on a leash, and when it's time for a car ride, you can just open the door, and I’ll jump right in. I’m the eager-to-please type, with a medium energy level, agreeable, affectionate, and I’ll share little kisses. I would be the happiest girl in town to get some attention and quality time with my new family, whether it's playing in the yard or snuggling on the couch; both are equally wonderful!
