Meet Valor, a resilient and incredibly affectionate adult male dog who has experienced more than his fair share. At 65 pounds, this big-hearted guy is an adventurous spirit who relishes car rides with his head out the window, enjoys zoomies in shallow water, and loves paddleboarding and kayaking with his humans. Valor is a clever companion, knowing commands like sit, down, focus, and wait. His training at Dogizone in Rockville has yielded impressive results, as he walks beautifully on a martingale collar in calm environments. Valor's reactivity tends to be situational rather than aggressive. He thrives when given the space to interact and play with other dogs, having successfully played with them at daycare and during group activities. However, he struggles a bit in confined spaces like hallways, where he tends to get excited upon seeing other dogs. His current living situation is not ideal, which is why a more spacious, patient environment would suit him best. Despite overcoming eviction and neglect, Valor's spirit remains strong. He needs an experienced adopter who understands his needs and is willing to provide the consistency and peaceful home he deserves. Located in Baltimore, MD, Valor is housetrained, microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations. His adventure has only just begun, and with the right love and support, he’s ready to thrive in his forever home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
