About Wade
Wade is a young, black and white smooth-coated Border Collie in need of a patient owner. He arrived at the rescue after being relinquished by his breeder and later adopted by someone who recognized his need for socialization and training. Wade has just been neutered and is currently not comfortable with walking on a leash, but he is crate-trained and travels well in a vehicle. Wade has shown that he can get along with other dogs once he gets to know them, and enjoys human interaction after a slow introduction. He’s currently in Chestertown, MD, and a potential adopter should understand that he may require some time and effort to feel secure. Since Wade has not lived with children, he won't be placed in a home with kids under twelve. This sweet boy is ready for a committed adopter who can help him thrive.
