Meet Dreidel, a striking 3.5-year-old American Shorthair with a unique story. He began his journey as a tiny kitten in the streets of Jerusalem before making it all the way to Boston. Now, he seeks the ultimate destination: a forever home where he can flourish. Dreidel originally thrived with another cat, but recent changes in his household have led to conflicts. His family loves him dearly and understands that he needs a fresh start in a different environment to bring back his happiness. Weighing in at 17.5 pounds, Dreidel has a big personality to match. He’s smart, curious, and very vocal, which makes him a trainable companion. Playtime is essential for him, along with regular exercise and mental challenges. Although he can be a bit jumpy at times, he has a wonderfully balanced nature once he feels secure. Dreidel is independent but enjoys affection and cuddles, doing it all on his own terms. Dreidel would thrive best in a calm, predictable home without young children or plans for any in the future. He has lived well with another cat before, suggesting a compatible feline friend could work with a proper introduction. While he hasn't interacted with dogs yet, his sensitivity to change means a gradual approach is key.
