Meet Patty Patata! Named after the Spanish word for potato, she’s the happiest little couch potato you'll ever encounter. This brindled beauty spent three long months in the shelter before being rescued, and she immediately showed affection by flopping onto the floor for belly rubs. With a wagging tail and a joyful spirit, she’s ready to be your Netflix companion. Patty thrives in a home with people. She has gotten along well with other dogs in her foster home but is not cat-friendly. Like many female bully breeds, she’s a natural leader, so she’d do best as the only dog or with a suitable male companion. Patty is great with kids, loves to snuggle, and is calm indoors — making her reliable outside of a crate. Her favorite treats include cow hooves and pig ears. Though she’s not fond of the summer heat in Texas, Patty is eager for a cozy home up north where she can be a warm lap warmer come winter. At about two and a half years old and fully vetted, she weighs in at a healthy 60 pounds. She’ll also receive a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention injection before going home, meaning fewer worries for her new family.
