About Pearl
Pearl has been thriving at Hail Mary Rescue for nearly a year now. She arrived after experiencing years of neglect and has transformed under the loving care of her foster in Louisiana. While she faces some ear drainage issues thought to stem from allergies, our vet in Virginia believes they can manage her condition effectively. Pearl has been given a Cytopoint and has undergone allergy testing, with HMR ready to cover the costs of a year of treatment post-adoption. At about 5 years old and weighing 70 pounds, Pearl prefers to be the only pet in her home, although she could get along with a similarly sized male dog. Her first foster, a dog trainer, has helped her become very well-behaved, making her a joy to have around. She rides well in the car and behaves impeccably indoors, showing no signs of chewing or barking. An adopter with experience in German Shepherds or similar breeds would be ideal for Pearl. Currently located in Warrenton, VA, she can be easily transported to her new home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
