About Cashew

Meet Cashew! This 1-year-old Boxer mix brings happiness to everyone around him. At 35 pounds, he sports a gleaming smile, alert ears, and a tongue that seems to have a mind of its own, ready to charm anyone he encounters. Abandoned at a park but now thriving in foster care, Cashew has bulked up and revealed his playful, goofy personality. He adores treats, particularly pup cups, and greeted strangers at a recent adoption event with a joyful wag and a wiggly dance. Walking is Cashew's favorite activity. He loves trips to the park where he happily plays fetch and tug. Heโ€™s smart and has picked up commands quickly, but with some training guidance, heโ€™s learning to take it slow and self-regulate. Ideal for an active family willing to continue his training, Cashew thrives on daily walks, playtime, and, after using up all that energy, a cozy nap. Currently in Houston, arrangements for pick-up or transport to DFW are available. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
