After testing positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), he was at risk of euthanasia, but we couldn't let that happen. Now at the Boone Area Humane Society, he’s waiting for a family that sees him as more than just a diagnosis. FeLV can weaken a cat's immune system and might lead to a shorter lifespan. However, FeLV-positive cats like Bobby are just like any other cats and have so much love to give! He’ll need to live with other FeLV-positive cats but gets along well with dogs and other non-feline pets. The adoption fee is waived for FeLV-positive cats, and we provide post-adoption support to make the transition smoother.
