🐾 Meet Bobby McGee! 🐾 Bobby McGee is a handsome, large, gentle tabby ready for a fresh start. After testing positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), he was at risk of euthanasia, but we couldn't let that happen. Now at the Boone Area Humane Society, he’s waiting for a family that sees him as more than just a diagnosis. FeLV can weaken a cat's immune system and might lead to a shorter lifespan. However, FeLV-positive cats like Bobby are just like any other cats and have so much love to give! He’ll need to live with other FeLV-positive cats but gets along well with dogs and other non-feline pets. The adoption fee is waived for FeLV-positive cats, and we provide post-adoption support to make the transition smoother.
