Charlie Brown is a six-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, currently living in Dallas, TX. He is a house-trained dog who is also crate trained, having completed two multi-week training programs at Torchlight K9 in Tulsa. Charlie knows a variety of commands and walks well on a leash, especially with proper handling. He has a smart yet stubborn streak and requires a confident owner who can maintain consistent rules. Charlie loves people and enjoys walks, car rides, and exploring new places. He quickly warms up to teens and adults, regardless of gender. While he enjoys his alone time with a rope toy or ball, his real joy comes from having someone to play with and cuddle. However, Charlie should ideally be in a home as the only dog. Although he shares a peaceful relationship with an older female dog, he has shown aggression towards unfamiliar dogs. He has not been tested with cats. Charlie is also not suitable for homes with young children due to resource guarding behavior, though he does well with older kids and teens.
