Found emaciated, weighing just under 4 pounds, and suffering from a severe flea infestation, her journey to recovery has been nothing short of a miracle. When she arrived at Sunkissed Acres, time was of the essence. Facing euthanasia at one shelter due to her health issues, we couldn’t turn our backs on this little angel. Amalia underwent numerous tests, all coming back normal, but the toll of her abandonment was evident; she needed to be syringe-fed when she lost her appetite. It became clear: she was emotionally shattered from losing love and security. With care and patience, Amalia has made a remarkable turnaround. Now, she greets you at the door, curling up on your chest and showering you with gentle kisses, as if she’s trapped all her stories inside. This affectionate lady loves to cuddle, sleep beside you, and enjoy every ounce of warmth that life has to offer. Given her past, Amalia would thrive as the only cat in a serene home where she can get all the love and attention she deserves.
