Meet Bettee, a charming 5-year-old Shih Tzu who is eager to find her forever home. She arrived at Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue with other scared pups, but she’s blossomed well with care and patience. While she’s still mastering leash walking and can be a little anxious about stairs, her foster mom is guiding her through gentle training. Bettee has learned to use a doggy door, but she’ll thrive with a consistent schedule for outdoor potty breaks if her new home doesn’t have one. Bettee is friendly with the dogs she lives with and has a gentle nature around a 6-week-old puppy. She’s met a cat and keeps her distance, respecting his space. Though she hasn’t been around children yet, her kind demeanor suggests she’d adapt well as long as they’re gentle.
