Twix thrives in an active environment and would do best with a family that has a fenced yard and older children who can keep up with his high energy. Twix has been working on calming behaviors and has learned commands like "place" and "wait." However, he needs a slow introduction to new dogs due to his excitement. His past experiences suggest that he might not be the best fit for homes with small animals, including cats, given his high prey drive. Twix is quite food motivated, making training a rewarding experience. He has impressive house manners and is already crate trained, though his leash skills are still a work in progress.
