Athena has spent the last two years as a nurturing foster sister to many puppies, even stepping up as a mom to 10 during her first heat cycle. Now it's her time to shine as someone's cherished pet. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, Athena is a confident, dominant female who establishes her place in the pack. Once the rules are set, she becomes a loyal protector and best friend. Plus, she's a vigilant watchdog, always ready to alert you about visitors in the yard. Currently located in Northport, AL, Athena can be transported to an approved home. Adoption is through Southern Paws Animal Rescue, and her adoption fee is completely waived. After showing so much love to everyone else, Athena is ready to be someone's priority.
