Honeybear is a sweet and beautiful girl of about one year old, weighing in at approximately 26 lbs. She arrived at Mostly Mutts from animal control and has been adjusting well to her new surroundings. While she initially seemed shy, with gentle encouragement, her curious and gentle personality begins to shine. When meeting other dogs at Mostly Mutts, she was interested and friendly without aggression, making her a good match for homes with dogs. She's yet to meet any cats, and due to her shyness, a home without toddlers would be best as she may bump into little ones. Honeybear enjoys spending time with calm volunteers who help her feel secure. Currently learning basic commands, she shows promise with 'sit' and 'come' and participates in the crate training process. Potty training is a work in progress due to her past schedule at the shelter, so her new family will need to assist her in this area. Honeybear loves to engage with her toys and soak up affection, and she thrives on love, attention, and proper training.
