About Coal
Meet Coal. This sweet boy was found all alone on a backcountry road, scared and skinny, in desperate need of love. Fast forward to today, and Coal is discovering the joys of life! At around 1 year old, Coal is an energetic pup who adores people and gets along well with other dogs. He's got tons of personality and is quite vocal, especially when he wants to be near his human companions. Coal seeks a home where he can feel like part of the family and soak up all the love he's been missing. Currently, he's working hard on his crate and potty training and has made great progress. He's decent on a leash but may pull a bit; nonetheless, he’s a fantastic car rider—just be prepared for some adorable whining along the way. While Coal hasn't spent much time with cats, he seemed uninterested during a brief encounter. Ongoing training and guidance will help him grow into his best self. Coal is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find the forever family he deserves. After all he has been through, he needs a safe haven, a patient teacher, and lots of love. Could you be the one to show Coal that his lonely days are over? Coal's adoption fee is sponsored, but a meet and greet at the potential adopter’s home is required to ensure a good fit for everyone!
