About Peppercorn

Meet Peppercorn, a sweet and gentle girl who arrived here skinny and alone, yet full of joy. From the moment she stepped into the shelter, her wagging tail and affectionate demeanor made it clear she had an abundance of love to give. During her dog test, Peppercorn showed us she’s ready for a life where she can simply be herself after likely being bred repeatedly. She prefers to be the only furry friend in the home, but she has been wonderful with children. She's patient and affectionate, and we have no concerns about her around kids. Peppercorn is still figuring out what toys are and how to enjoy them, which is endearing to see as she explores joy for the first time. When you look at her, you can sense her past, but also how eager she is for a future filled with kindness, comfort, and a loving family that will treat her right. Your new best friend is waiting.
